Guitar Rig 4 question

I recently purchased an Epiphone Ultra III guitar which came with Guitar Rig 4 software and USB cable to connect to a computer. I connected the cable and experimented with the audio settings and got the guitar talking to the computer (I can see the bar deflection on the dispaly when I strum the guitar), but I can't get any audio from Guitar Rig out of the computer speakers. The speakers work fine with everything else. Anyone have any suggestions?

In my search I found that some pre-sets re-set the master volume to Zero..

Thank you for your input Compart1. I looked at that site and there is a lot of useful information there. I wasn't able to get it working with the volume control in my case, but you gave me a good source of information. I'll figure it out when I have more time to work on it and let you know what I find.
