For how long have you guys been playing?
I have started when I was 8, that means that I've only been playing for 7 years.
And sometimes I see others playing and I'm like: "I'll never been able to play like that!!". For how long should I be playing to be considered as a "good" guitar player? And when did YOU reach the "good" level? :)

Started in the 5th grade. I'm 26 now. Always forget the amount of years so I have to count backwards. I think it's about 16.

"Good" is all relative. Compared to a beginner, lots of people are good. Compared to a virtuoso, very few are good. Lots of different things determine what makes you good and a lot of it is subjective. I don't really worry about who thinks I'm good or not. I just play for myself and make sure I fix whatever areas I'm weak in.

I had a guitar for maybe 5 years now, but never used it until this year. Messed around with it for a few days but then just left it.
However I started to practice the guitar seriously around august of 2012 (so thats like 2 months now). Since then, I have been playing and practicing anywhere from 2 to 6 hours every day depending on how much time I have, and am loving it. Best hobbie I have ever had.
