Actually i have an electric - acoustic takamine, i want an electric guitar and i want to know between this guitars which you choose thinking of versatility, sound, look, quality:
1. Fender American Standard Stratocaster http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/fender-american-standard-stratocaster-electric-guitar
2. Gibson Les Paul Studio worn cherry http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/gibson-les-paul-studio-electric-guitar
3. Gibson SG Faded http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/gibson-faded-sg-special-electric-guitar
4. Fender MiM Deluxe players.http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/fender-deluxe-players-stratocaster-electric-guitar

The above 4 guitars are my candidates, All are in the same range of price approx.

I think the fender stratocaster is one of the most versatile guitar on the market.
I own a fender american standard stratocaster and I can do almost anything except very heavy metal stuff.

Either the normal Strat or Les Paul. Don't know much about the Deluxe Strat.

It really depends on what type of music you want to play though.

Thanks guys, i think the Strato is winning right now with 2 votes, mmm the kind of music i play would be something like this :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjpSX6fCPDc

In other words is like "latin pop music" i don't even know the genre :D.. But you get the idea, so
Fender = Versatile (not for heavy which is good because i don' like heavy stuff)

Thanks guys.

Thanks for the info, is the same name song but totally different songs, but the important thing is that the strat does just fine with many styles of song, so i think the strat would be the choice for me. :D
