Hey y'all! I just signed up for the full pass. I'm 58 and never played guitar before, but do have a music background. Played some piano as a kid, and was in music and band through school. Got tired of all my friends pickin', playin', and singin', while all I got to do was mix their drinks. 😃 I've got short and arthritic fingers but instill hope I can learn to play well enough to strum along with my friends. I bought a new Blueridge BR-143ce to start on. I'll be doing the beginners lessons on here and probably take a lesson a week for a couple of months from a local teacher as well. Hope it goes well. I'm not very patient.

Hi txpgapro,

"Patience is a virtue" and I want it right now! ;)

We've had much older beginners start with guitar tricks and the music background is very helpful. Stick with your plan and they'll have to find a new bartender!
