I have been trying to play the acoustic guitar for the last 2 years, I started when I was 57 I am Now at the grand age of 60. I have always loved music of various types. I have converted my garage into a studio and use a Korg D3200 for recording. My friend who plays bass guitar encouraged me to start and he was a pro in the 60-80s, we have a small band made up of bass, drums, keyboard and guitar (me) most of us are in our 50s and the oldest is 67. we now have a really good singer (female) she is 22 and suffer us old ones with great care and as made a great contribution to the group. I suffered a stroke 5 years ago which affected my right side and my right hand so I find barring difficult, I have now purchased electric guitar which as helped a little with barring. I came across your site because I want to progress with cords due to the fact we are learning more involved songs with cords I haven't used before.
