I AM DESPERATE!!!! I need to know what minor thirds, major thrids, harmonic minors, relative minors, 5ths, chord, all those fancy theory names mean. Why are they important? Is there a good theory wbe site? How can I find the minor third of the note A? Alll this stuff is driving my crazy. Please help someone!!!!

The minor 3rd of any note will be located 3 frets above the given pitch.
Ex; the minor 3rd of A is C
This is the opening interval of a minor pentatonic or blues scale, and the basis for a lot of Zeppelin riffs.

Or you could look at it as counting up three on the minor scale. A - B - C
