I picked up a guitar it's called (State Of The Art) It plays good, sounds good, and it's as heavy as a cement block, has a strat style body, and a kramer type head stock. I read somewhere that they made these in Canada. I have no idea if this is worth anything or not. Does anyone know anything about these guitars?

Doubt it's worth anything. I've never heard of it and Google didn't come up with much. Just a couple threads asking the same thing you are. Here is one regarding a "State of the Art" Telecaster.

From what I gathered, it's just a knock-off brand pretty much.

that's what I was thinking also, but it just seems to be well built, and plays really good.

I haven't heard of that guitar but go with your instincts. If you like it now, you'll probably like it later. I bought a classical guitar that way, I'd never heard of the brand (Gianini) but I couldn't put it down so I just bought it. ($200)
