I found a sappy blues backing track and just packed a bunch of notes over it with a heavy tone :) http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11462209

Good improv, but sounded out of tune to me. Was driving me nuts, but it may just be all in my head.

I wonder if its the effect that makes it sound a little off-key. Anyways, technique is really solid! In terms of improvement, I would suggest finding a core to your solo... its a little meandering, with one lick running into the next, into the next etc... give yourself some breathing space, think about "the notes not played" and all those kinds of philosophical cliches... (but true!). I think you've got the chops... now put technique away and let your mind go to the creative side. Do ever try that thing where you listen to the music and play the guitar solo in your head or even sing it? Sometimes I find that helps me come up with more melodic ideas. Keep going!
