As for the guitar tones, just a quick listen revealed the following:

The crunch guitar, to my ears, sounds like a Fender type tube amp with some sort of overdrive/distortion (sounds like a Big Muff to me) providing that thick distortion.

The clean guitar sounds like a Vox AC 30 type amp, send for sparkling clean. This was the 80s so there is most likely lots of chorus, echo, and reverb to give lots of depth.

Again, this is just a quick guideline to get you in the ballpark. Feel free to experiment!!
