Would be cool to see. I only care about seeing Eddie playing though. As far as it being a "Van Halen" reunion, I'd agree with a lot of the comments on that page you linked haha. On a side note:

If anyone wants to see Mike play, he's playing with my band at the House of Blues in February. We're way over in California though.

Eddie Van Halen's Eruption. Amazing.

Yeah, it is. Funny though, some of my favorite Eddie riffs are his little jingles like the first 20 seconds of Little Guitars off Diver Down. GAWD D I LOVE that riff.

Or that intro riff on Women in Love...

I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel the tour after a few stops.. that video of the new single New Tattoo was REALLY a snooze fest.. It wasn't anywhere near what VH had ever done in the past.. I don't know if they slowed down because of the age or to leg Wolfie try and keep up...Whatever the reason may be, I as a fan of VH am deeply disappointed over it.
I don't know what the rest of the lineup will sound like.. I've not heard anything done since D L R came back to the band and since Wolfie took over on Bass... Hopefully they won't disappoint past this point...

I've really grown to like the song. And I think they move around rather well for 50+ year olds who partied like crazy year after year after year! I'd definitly looking forward to 2/7/2012. The new Van Halen CD will be jammen in my car!

It's good to see EVH happy, healthy & playing music.

I've heard & read many people commenting negatively on this new tune. It seems like some of them expect anything new by VH with DLR to sound like it's 1978 all over again. But, it's not. :) It's never going to be 1978 again.

Geez, I remember when Jump came out. There was a huge uproar of fans that hated it! And that's their perogative. But, it was just EVH playing the same happy-go-lucky major triad riffs he'd always done. Just on synth instead of guitar. Even back in 1984, some VH fans were wishing it was 1978 again.

The vid looks like they are having fun playing music together again. I'll call that a victory.
