...Knob Noster, Missouri, gateway to beautiful Whiteman AFB.

I'm incredibly impressed with the site. I've been looking at several of the lessons and I'm just trying to decide which one to start with. I will more than likely wait until after the holidays to make a final decision.

I just bought my son a new Schecter Hellraiser C-1, FR for X-Mass. I'd like to see how it road tests on one of these lessons. That is if I can pry it away from him.

...I wouldn't want to see one of those evil black things going after my butt. I couldn't imagine anything more scary.

People just don't know how loud those B-2s actually are :D I still find it funny how after all these years, someone can come over to my home after I've told them I live so close to the runway you can count the bolts on the landing gear for the planes... and then they are SHOCKED when the B-2s are doing touch and go runs and can actually see the wheels etc!

Anyways, you said you bought the guitar for your son, but was going to have to pry it from HIS hands.. why don't you have one for yourself? Or do you just want to play his :D My boy just graduated this past May from KNHS...

D-Train, my son, graduated a Panther this year (2011).

As for me, I have a 1964 Martin D-18 I bought off of a woman I worked with back in 1993, and I have a 1979 era Schecter Custom Telecaster style guitar, that my brother gave to me in lieu of rent back in 1991. It's made out of swamp ash and it's one of the heaviest guitars I've ever tried to pick up.

My son's guitar is just shiny and new, and I just want my hands on it.

Well if your son graduated this year he graduated with my son :D Chances are great that your son KNOWS Howie.. EVERYONE knows MY son he was the one with the HAIR!!! LOTS of it for the longest time :D
I bought myself a few guitars here this past year, from both Family and Central Pawn.. but my pride and Joy is my Washburn I got from Central Piano and Music there in the Burg.. I go to SFCC and will be doing the Jazz Band and stuff there till I transfer to CMU...
