hhmmmmm..... i still think it is more suited for studio work rather than live, even though it does have a brill live tone. the main problem is the patch changing thingyum. it is a tiny button on the front and if you want more versitility you will have to fork out for the footswich im afraid. if you want my opinion (which no-one ever does) you are better of with a multi-fx pedal. unfortunetly it is a trade-off for tone against versitility. however if you have a good amp, it shouldn't make that much difference to the tone
