New member from Texas

Hi everyone!
I'm Jason from Tomball, Texas. I've been playing guitar off and on for about 30 years, however, I've never taken a formal lesson in my life.

Now that the internet is such a strong medium for musical instruction, I figure I can learn everything I'm lacking in. Before I just used books and magazines.

I dabble in other hobbies, too...electronic music, home recording, and recently, I've just completed building my first electric guitar (strat style).

I'm looking forward to exploring what GT has to offer!

Thanks guys! Already enjoying the site! Learned a song, dabbled in some Metal Style, reviewed some basic music theory and improv techniques, and looked into improving my speed...only my 3rd day in! :)

I think I like it here! :)
