I don't know what this technique is? Speed picking? Tremolo picking? Strumming, ok, but speed Strumming? Well... Strum, but reaaaaaaaal fast... Please tell us more :)

Speed picking is when u wiggle the pick really quickly on a string, it is really fast.Good examples of speed picking is by a band called DreamTheater.Their album "Metropolis Part 2 : Scenes from a Memory" is not only an incredible album, but alos has great solos from all instruments including synthesiser. The solos are difficult but are great examples of speed picking in practice.

Speed strumming... difficult concept. You mean in a punk-rock type fashion?
I think the trick is to keep a loose wrist, and like everything, start slow and just build up speed.

My guess, and suggestion, would be "Pinball Wizard" and just about any of the stuff on the "Tommy" studio album from The Who.

Speed strumming in the sense, that you change chords fast and are able to strum fast to the rhythm.
