its freaken amazing...and its almost depressing to know i will never be that good at guitar...

but if there was one thing i could play completely identical too..it would be that :)

Nope, haven't heard it.

Fast notes and shredding don't really impress me any more. It's a lot harder to write a catchy melody from 4 or 5 notes than to just shred through a bunch of scales like a braindead robot.

*Jaw Drop* ouch, that's pretty neat :) I wonder how long he practiced on that. I only know the first 50 notes of the caprice and I allready got tired of it :)

Christoph: it fills my heart to hear you say that.. by the way "killin's last road" is now being played regularly on my pc... it's pretty damn good.. i can honestly say it's the best thing i've heard from someone at guitartricks... So it gives you an idea of what kinda thing i like...

i dont know..i just have a lot of respect for that man...and i think he is an amazing guitar player...

i agree with the whole feeling thing...but i will never be able to shred notes and fly through scales like that...

Have you ever jammed with a shredder? with a "less is more" kind of guitar player?

I've played with shredders and it's so boring. You always need to take a step back cause they always want to shred for countless hours.

On the other hand, I've played with guitarist that don't need to play fast. They play by feeling. These guys are the best. You can jam with them over a 4 chord progression and easely alternate solo/rythmn. Each note is used to mix perfectly with the rythmn not over-shadow it (don't know if that's a word). It's hard to explain.
