I'm looking to expand my rig and add in a delay pedal, any ideas which one. I've mostly looked at the Boss DD-3 and DD-5, what's the difference?

I think the delay time is the main difference.
The DD3 goes to 800ms, where the DD5 goes up to 2000ms(2sec).

Does anyone know if a backward echo can be produced with a GT5??? If so, how?
Thanks

Any delay effect that allows you to adjust the levels of the original (dry) signal and the effected (wet) signal will do. Just set the dry level low compared to the wet signal. This works best with long delay times, and only a few echoes.
