3 Finger Picking Technique - Bass

Using 3 fingers instead of 2?...YES PLEASE!

From watching abundant amounts of Billy Sheehan videos I've come across an amazing technique! Picking with 3 fingers right over the pick-up.

It has come quite easily to me as I've never practiced it till just a few weeks ago. The time spent practicing has proved its weight in gold.

I'm hoping that I can convince those bassist out there looking to play metal that you should take a good look into this technique! I guarantee it will be worth your time.

Yes, this technique is good for triplets which can lend itself well to Irish music, blues, and reggae.

You can use your thumb, then first two fingers picking, or you can use your first three fingers to do it.
