From watching abundant amounts of Billy Sheehan videos I've come across an amazing technique! Picking with 3 fingers right over the pick-up.
It has come quite easily to me as I've never practiced it till just a few weeks ago. The time spent practicing has proved its weight in gold.
I'm hoping that I can convince those bassist out there looking to play metal that you should take a good look into this technique! I guarantee it will be worth your time.
