Epiphone Les Paul Standard

Hi guys,
I've been thinking about getting an Epiphone Les Paul Standard for a while now. But I watched some reviews on Youtube and they were BAD! So I just want to know what your opinion is if you have one, and if you've had any trouble with the electronics and stuff! 'Cause I REALLY don't want to spend my money on a guitar and suddenly find out it sucks! Or that I need to replace things on it.

I have an epiphone les paul elitist (MIJ) that sounded great right out of the box. Epiphone has recently come out with LP's with great woods and electronics. It would be difficult to find a better guitar for the price. Check with:

Thanks Doug! Lol bad reviews are very off putting! But everyone I talk to about Epiphone seem very positive about it! Just wanted to be sure about it! Thanks again! ;)

Phew, I love it. It has a nice thin neck, not a big fat baseball bat neck like I've felt on many Les Pauls.

Yeah Prophercys are AWESOME! I'd get one now but they're a bit out of my price range for now.
