oh wow it's been toooooo long since I really put effort into playing! We did a ton if work to the house and in doing so I had to pack up my
Girls and put them somewhere safe away from dust, spakle, paint and what not. I failed to give them any lovin and now it is time I pay for my sins!

I have started getting my materials together and hooked up with a friend to show her the basics. It's already motivating me!!! So....I am currently working on Rise by Eddie Vedder...have busted out my mandolin and have also attempted an adapted version for the 6 string! I promise not to stray.... I'm still here aren't I? Lol

That is "my lady" loll.
I didint make a studio BUT I painted the basement, new carpet, hung a flat screen, moved my futon down there and started making a home for all my gear! It's not set up yet the way i want or hat feels comfortable....but it works for now. Hung a few Hercules hooks :0) also have a ductless ac in the whole house now and it has a "dry" setting for the summer when it' humid down there....nice to keep it all at the same temp too! Just have to make sure I have humidifiers for the acoustics for the dry winter months! It will probably always be a work in progress!
And the one sucky thing....we had to stash the drum set for now. We have a treadmill, elliptical and drum set competing for the same space!! And the drum set lost :0( it's a small set and easy to take out and Set up though....

A little hiatus is a good thing to revive enthusiasm. And I also think teaching someone else, is good for your own learning. Helps me anyway. Welcome back.
