Musicians are known for a). not having much in the way of money and b). little to no cooking skills.

Personally, if it wasn't for Ramen Noodles and english muffins I don't know how I'd survive.

What are the cheap-yet-easy-to-make staples of your diet?

GO TO BED!

Yeah, I've done that routine too. No worry, for many pro musicians have stayed up all hours of the night doing nothing but practicing.

bed? what bed? ;) i sleep when my back starts to ache ( usually after like 5 hours or more of consecutive guitar playing...)

anyways i have come to a conclusion that the best way to improve ( other than getting a good teacher ) is to play with another musician. i'll be fine :)

i saw a few shredder kids on guitarwar, some of them arent that great ( ok so they can play fast, big deal eh?) i mean with a few weeks i could do alot of what they play, i choose not to though (* not all of which they play, but quite a bit seems to be out of some scale and used with no emotion at all...)
wow im getting tired...

There's a guy named Gene who doesn't live too far from me who I'd like to see you jam with sometimes. He's all into Greatful Dead stuff, and actually manages to play it in a way that doesn't annoy me. A genuine cool **** who's cool with everybody who's cool with him...

Yeah, he's all about the true jam scene, a true roll model if there can ever be one.

Isnt it ironic how playing guitar isnt near as much about the technique and talent as it is about the comradery and expression it brings.

Food, let me think.. anything really (well, not everything.. I dont eat pork or drink the evil devils piss , (no not coke) alcohol...). I live at home at the mo, so really what's cooked here...
I can only emphasise how LOVELY milk and almond syrup is ... if you decide to try it, make sure you got the swee t almond syrup.. cos the bitter stuff they use for cooking is very very very strong, and not too nice...

Heres a good dish- rice with scrambled egg fragments. Buy the rice in bulk and the eggs as an occasional delecacy. Or buy flour and veggie oil and make little bread cakes to cook over an open flame, like a gas stove. Again, buy in bulk.

Btw, isnt ironic how all of the economical stuff has lots of protien?
