Not sure if I am the only one, but I find talking guitar helps learning, remembering, putting into practice easier. Kind of like learning to drive. We grow up watching our parents do it because we know some day we are going to step behind the wheel.

I find myself doing this with guitar. I may not always have my guitar in hand, but I might watch a lesson, even on Youtube, read a forum, think about a scale in my head, etc.

Physical practice is essential, but filling the brain with guitar tidbits seems to help.
