Can a Squier really be worth $900?

Don't get me wrong, I am actually a big fan of the Squier, but there is a guy selling an '82 Squier Tele on a local board for $900

a) It's a Squier
b) Nothing past '71 was not mass produced, so I fail to see significant vintage value.

Am I missing something?

No matter how much upgrades (if any) it had I doubt it's worth $900. There's many many other guitar that's better for even less.

I love Carvin and when you see this you'll understand. :)

That Carvin is nice. I haven't found any local dealers for Carvin. :(

A person obviously needs to be careful with the online ads. Today someone was selling an Epi Special for $300 (this is the $200 guitar) claiming he paid $600 for it.

It says little for humanity at large. We suck and we can't be trusted.

Carvin doesn't use dealers, Thats why they aren't as common. but also why they aren't priced thru the roof. I have a CS6M And a bolt kit i'm putting together right now.

Cool! I have a Bolt kit too. :)

And a DC127. I'm eyeing the SC90, oh when will it stop.

Hi Carvin Boy, I've been seriously looking at the Bolt. What's your take on it? Have you compared it to an American Standard or G & L Legacy?

No, I haven't compared them. Don't need to. :)
