thanks. I was thinking there were more songs to choose from than what I found under songs. Do they add more songs frequently?

Faster than I expected. They did not have this feature when I started with this site and I was surprised how quickly it has grown so far.
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.

I am new also. I got the one year full access membership as a present. I learn best when I am trying to learn a song. I used to get frustrated learning bits and pieces and skills that I didn't know how to apply. I have learned some songs from other sites and am pleased. I do want to use this present to the fullest. I play acoustic and like folk, folk rock singer songwriter (like james taylor, cat stevens) and rock (like CCR, Eagles etc,) I am focusing mostly on Lisa's lessons and definitely have an interest in learning John Barleycorn Must Die, Closer to Fine, and Greensleeves. I will work on some of the skills also. I do hope to see more songs, though in the near future.

Does anyone know where to find the Intro to Sweet Jane by Lou Reed. I mean printed in tab, all 3 minutes of it in the key of E not D, by Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner. I have the first 4 bars, and all the myriad chords leading into the song, but not the actual lead itself. I cannot find anything printed or otherwise. Also interested in the lead to AudioSlave's "You're Time Has Come". The intro lead is easy but the middle lead blows me away. That guy is good.

Hi Ironman,

That is a great song, I don't know where to find the intro though.

New song posted:

On The Road Again by Willie Nelson

That would be tough to nail down musicdoc522, since so many things can change in the process of creating a song tutorial.

That is some great duo guitar playing. Unfortunately, I do not know where you would find the tab for that lead in particular. The closest I could find is the book at the link below, which is where you can a Lou Reed guitar tab book that has "Sweet Jane" in it. I can not guarantee the guitar solo is in there though. I was always a very big fan of Audioslave. I know they were not as well reviewed in the press as RATM, but none the less they were a great Rock and Roll band. With this song, remember the key with Tom Morello is his tone. He achieves it very simply with very little gear, but his creative use of effects does make things a little tricky sometimes. With this song, that is the case with not only some harmonizing, but also he is using his toggle switch. By doing some hard switching on his guitar toggle switch, he can simulate some keyboard like sounds that sound very creative and are unique to him as a player. Again, this is not him picking those melodies but by playing only a few notes and switching between his pickups on the guitar. Agreed, he is the man.

I click on a link from a an outside webpage that took to this site for learning songs from U2 and signed up because of that. Maybe I messed up my search on this site, but I cannot find any lessons for U2.
