I recently finished reading this book, entitled "Outliers", by author Malcolm Gladwell. This is an amazing book that outlines the lives and experiences of some of the most successful and accomplished human in history; including The Beatles, Bill Gates, and more. This video uses The Beatles as a reference, and explains the concept of "meaningful work." Let this inspire your playing.

It spent a fair amount of time on my shelf as well I can assure you. It actually is not even my own copy of the book. I stole it from someone else's shelf (not really.) Again, I really feel it is important to read this book as it helps make sense of the supposed natural and genius abilities that successful people possess, when in reality it is hard, meaningful work that truly makes a difference. I feel this can be transferred over to guitar playing, or with anything you do honestly. Here is another interview with the same author regarding this concept;
