I tryin gto decide between these two pedals: the Boss Mt-2 Metal Zone or the Marshall Jackhammer. i'm looking for a variety in tones, but mainly a rhaods tone. any input?
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

for distortion a jackhammer isn't the 'bees knees'
My marshall AVT-50 produces better didtortion.
if ur looking for a good pedal try the Zoom 501, its got kick ass distortion.

I'd go for a Boss, because I have yet to try a good (really good) Marshall pedal.
Impendance is fruitfull

I own a marshall jackhammer and I think its a incredible good sounding box ones you get to know him :D
there is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow men. True nobility is being superior to your former self :D
