Last part of the Hotel California Solo
Does anyone know which effects are used by Joe Walsh in the final sections of the Hotel California solo. I have watched a video and suspect that it is two guitars playing unison but it also looks like Joe Walsh may be using a pitch shifter or an octaver with specific settings. Any advice on this would be appreciated  .

The final solo is a series of triad arpeggios that follow the chord progression & are played in harmony by Walsh and Felder. Like this:
Gtr 1
E |-14-10------14-10----------------|
B |--------12----------12-----------|
G |---------------------------------|
D |---------------------------------|
A |---------------------------------|
E |---------------------------------|
Gtr 2
E |-10-7-------10-7-----------------|
B |--------7-----------7------------|
G |---------------------------------|
D |---------------------------------|
A |---------------------------------|
E |---------------------------------|
Hope this helps.

A great (classic) recording of Hotel California. Show a pretty good amount of playing and less camera trickery stuff. Also note that the bass player is still Randy Miesner.
Gives you an idea of the playing from a visual perspective...and cool to watch.
