Well,I went to the store and tried the squire. The sound was very good,they did plug it into a sizable amp though..

The fingering was...well....awesome....they had only the olympic white model,but it looks better than it's net picture.

Fit and finish was excellent,surprisingly well done for a guitar of this price. So...... I layed it away..since I didn't have the cash at this time... :(

I'll pick it up as soon as I can,because I did NOT want to put this puppy down.. :D

The whole deal was 387.00. That was with a hard case,20 ft cord,new strings, set up and intonation, and tax.

I play for fun and I'm happy with the squire modified vintage SSS...I'll be even happier when it's home... :D
