whats your take on this effects board?

I think for the money that is a great effects unit. Very easy to use, sounds are great; and the interface is very, very simple. BOSS effects units, such as the GT series, are very tricky and when they released the ME-50; they truly did it right. I say for the money, this is a very, very wise purchase and I very much encourage it's use. You should be able to find this used very easily given that it has been out since around 2002 or so (I Think?), and has been a great product for them.
