Hi, i noticed that posts seem to roll off. Is this an individual setting that can be changed or a forum wide setting? I went into the user control panel but didn't see anything.

I'm sure lots of good posts have rolled off that I'd like to revisit. :o

I'm not sure what you mean by "Roll Off".
Do ya mean, end suddenly?

Posts only seem to have a certain amount of time before they no longer appear on the site. All other forums I've been they don't go away, they just get pushed down the page or onto a second page that is accessible via paging links at the bottom of the page.

Hope that makes since.

I think you may be looking for the "Display Options" interface at the bottom of any forum that has more than one page of threads.

Notice in the Music Theory forum for example:
http://www.guitartricks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=3

At the bottom of the page under the "Display Options" title are three pull down menus. In "From the" select "Beginning". Then click the button Show Threads.

You will get this:
http://www.guitartricks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&f=3&page=1&pp=10&sort=title&order=desc&daysprune=-1

Which lists 93 pages of posts! Instead of just the one of most recent posts.

Hope this helps.

Hi Chris... Yes, that's exactly what I was looking for. Feel like an idiot now. Been surfing forums for about 10 years now, you'd have thought I've have noticed that.

Thanks!
