Hi,

I'd like to have all acoustic lessons (minus tutorials) sorted by difficulty. I could do this before the redesign but now I'm having problems. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Check out advanced search:

http://www.guitartricks.com/adv-search.php

and just bypass the tutorials.

Hope that helps!

That's perfect; thanks a lot! I feel kind of stupid I never thought of it before.

EDIT:

Hi,

The advanced search function doesn't work too well. Any suggestions?

What difficulties do you encounter with using advanced search? We're always looking for ways to improve our site.

thanks,

I just did a search for all acoustic "tips and tricks" at a difficulty of 2 (guitars) as you'll see here: http://www.campingsociety.com/images/theslasher/search.png

The first page of results listed five lessons; the first one was a 5 on difficulty. Here: http://www.campingsociety.com/images/theslasher/results1.png

I clicked on "more tips and tricks" and the next page of results came up with tutorials first, which I clearly left unchecked at search. Here: http://www.campingsociety.com/images/theslasher/results2.png

Then I scrolled down to find that the tips and tricks displayed actually had little to do with my search criteria: http://www.campingsociety.com/images/theslasher/results3.png

Don't know what I'm missing here but I actually got only about 4 matching results for my query. It isn't a huge issue because I can just browse around and find what I need but if you can get the advanced search to work properly, that'd be very useful to me.

Thanks for all the prompt support.

I'm bringing this thread to the attention of our programmer, and see if he has any insight. Thanks for taking the time to point out some examples. Have a good week. LEO

Thanks for a great bug report.

I believe we fixed everything.

Give it another shot and let me know.
