I've posted this a long time ago but completely redid some of the guitar tracks.
Just wanted to get some opinions:

The main parts sound like they came from Jeff Beck's Gtr Shop, LOVE IT!

That gtr-synth sound is great, how did you get this sound?

Very smooth playing, never sounded like you had to fight the instrument a bit :)

The main bass synth is an Arp2600 running an arpeggio.
The other synth is Xphraze. the drums are a standard Rock set using Battery. A bunch of other stuff is in there like telephone sounds, monkeys, Celtic instruments and hidden stuff that's time stretched and transposed.
There's A 16 part vocal harmony mixed down to stereo.

In the middle there's a B4 Organ playing a Cocktail Lounge patch.
A lot of the other stuff is guitar loops that I recorded last year and time stretched or transposed them to fit em into the song..
Then it's a bunch of different patch sounds doing the lead through a Boss GT-8.

There's actually a second part to the song but I haven't had a chance to finish it yet:

Very Nice Kevin,
Love that Arp bass line when the song opens.
At times it seems to me as though the electric guitar is not loud enough.
That's just me, I love the lead guitar to be way up front in my face.
Love the drum sounds!

Excellent tune overall, exacly the type of stuff I like to listen to.

I'm never gonna get that drum track from you, am I? :D

I never did anything with the drums on the track above, hoping you would get some time.

Thanks :)

Yep, I'll get some time eventually but it won't be this year that's fer sure.
I've got like, 500 instructional videos to record and 10,000 loops that have to be re-edited, plus a movie to score, so by the end of the day I'm dead on my feet.
... haven't slept since yesterday morning and I probably look like a zombie right now.

I won't forget tho. You're still on my to-do list that greets me every morning.

Oh man, that's a serious work load you got there.
I hate having long to-do list, so just scratch me off.
That's one less thing to think about which is always a good thing.

I'll mess with the drum track again.
I didn't spend that much time on the original track.

Thanks man

Wish I had more time man... I hate leaving things unfinished.
Majorly sorry I haven't had the chance to get to it yet.
I'll leave ya on the list anyways...I'm used to seeing 'do drums for that guy' in my email reminder every morning. :)

Hey Kevin,
Nice sound, great production man! Some kick ass guitar work in there too - nice touch and feel, totally rockin! Love the mix of tones too - like the cleaner sound in the later third. Never used a guitar synth before, sounds like a pretty versatile piece of gear. Nice one man.
