Hi All.

Just thought I would drop a little note of introduction here.

I just started to teach myself guitar, and found this site through surfing the web.

I have a 6-string Yamaha acoustic right now that I have started with.

Years ago, I studies piano as a grew up, played French Horn in a concert band all through school, and played sax in high school. This has given me a pretty good basic set of music skills, but it has been over 20 years since I really played anything.

I am looking forward to learning with this site.

This isn't the usual type of site where everything is aimed at theory and following teachers instructions....

Although there's tons of beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons ... there's also thousands of 'tricks' and 'riffs' you won't find anywhere else on the net.


(hence one of the reasons why I've been posting my stuff here for almost a decade... :)
