Eddie vs. Randy

I've played guitar probably 20 yrs. and have heard this idiotic argument for just as long, and I have to tell you, It's easier to burn in a minor key than a major, period!!!! So the question is, who played in Maj. keys 90% of the time? If you grow up in sunny Califorinia and have David Lee, do you write something like Mr. Crowley? I don't think so! Give Eddie a break will ya!
Have any of you guys ever heard Ed play jazz? That'll burn some of your asses.
Other than Hendrix, is there another more recognizable guitar style than the dive bombin', pinch harmonic poppin, finger tappin, Edward Van Halen? Be honest! Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Randy, but in the minor guitar world, I'd rather hear Yngwie, MacAlpine, or Howe.
