Hello, I've been playing guitar for about 4 months, and know absolutely nothing about theory (please don't make fun of me for this, I'm 14 and quite ignorant ö¿ö) but the best thing I can play is the tapping part of eruption:

b--2h5h9-- up to..... --9h12h15-- then downward, I don't know how else to tab it, but thanks to any of you that can help me.

Not quite sure what you are looking for (?) you have to be a little more explicit.

whell, I don't know what musical theory is exactly, like I don't know what in the hell a mode is or anything, if you could get me a site to explain it to me that would be peachy, thanks.

all of music theory is based off the major scale. The major scale contains 7 notes ( Cmaj.= C D E F G A B C )
A mode is the major scale starting and stopping on a note other then the root. (D Dorian/ the 2nd mode of C major= D E F G A B C D)
Look under the thread entitled Music Theory Links, I believe Christoph posted a link there you may want to check out.
