I think you have a good foundation with what you have recorded. To me a good fast Staccato type run in there would help to break it up. Maybe make up 3 different little runs and then add them in there. I like your tone so I would not change that. Also maybe explore that same note pattern down by the bridge or higher up on the neck. Hope that makes sense. :)
