do you guys ever have one of those days when you try to shred of play fast your fingers just seem to lag behind. on any other day you can play as fast as you want, but on this day your fingers don't seem to want to move like before

i just recently had one like that, and it frustrated the hell out of me, what about you guys?
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

Well Ive never felt the need to shred but I know what you mean. Its not so much moving up and down the fretboard but when you change fretted string or something your fingers just dont want to follow.

Sometimes our fingers get tight, but it's important for you to do the proper exercises before you get started on a really strenuous practice session. But don't let it discourage you, as musicians we all have good days and bad days.
