What doya think of them?
Personally, they're one of my favorite modern rock bands and I think Dave Grohl is one of the most talented guys in rock music today.

I do find it slightly ironic that Dave is a better singer, songwriter, and guitar-player, than Kurt Cobain ever was or prolly could've been. He's not too shabby on them drums either. Yep, he's got talent.

Guitar player, yes. Other two, I disagree.
I think Dave Grohl is probably a pretty awesome guy, he seems funny and cool and all that, but I just don't like the Foo Fighters very much. I find the music...well, boring.
I'd still take them over most of the other harder-rock bands out there these days.

Big fan of the Foos, Dave Groll is probably my favourite musician. I love all of the Foo Fighters albums and my dream is to see them live :D

I don't want to start any rumours but someone briefly mentioned to me that Grohl is to tour with Led Zeppelin. It sounds like a long shot.
I have two words: Fillmore Gears

You have officially piqued my interest. I'd much rather see that than Zeppelin playing with Jason Bonham. Nothing against the guy, but I mean....Dave Grohl. Drumming. For Zeppelin. How awesome would that be?

Haha no. Foo Fighters are good, but Nirvana will always be better in my mind. I think that Kurt Cobain was a better singer and songwriter. I guess Dave could be better at guitar, but I don't care about guitar when listening to Nirvana, they just sound so good, that if they're playing something the guitar will always sound good. Plus the Foo Fighters aren't grunge :p . But Kurt had such a good ear. Every solo I ever heard from him hit the melody just right.

I really like the first Album which was entirely David Grohl but after everyone else joined they got really boring and lame. They still have some decent stuff on their second album and "Stacked Actors" is a pretty cool song. But their songs for the most part got really lame after the Foo Fighters album.
My hero is just a terrible lame song in general and all their stuff got super main stream rockish rather than more grungy and experimental.
They are definitely still a solid boring rock band if thats what your into, but they aren't doing anything exciting. Talented but not inspiring.

I like them! We covered One By One at a show and it went over very well, It is also very simple to play. Good Song. Foo's are WAY better than Narvana ever thought about being. Hell Dave has so much talent that Kurt killed himself. Dumbass!!

I would have to agree with everything you said except that Nirvana is just flat out better than the Foo Fighters. I mean, they play two different genres of Rock. Both bands consist of great musicians that are good at what they do. It's hard to tell which band is "better" than the other, but there's no doubt in my mind that Kurt Cobain is a better musician than Dave Grohl.
