So I've been looking for an amp for months, and since I don't have enough money for a decent tube, I'm looking for good solid state amp. I'm looking on ebay to see if i can get either a cheap crate half stack, a marshall mg100hdfx half stack, a Fender Princeton Chorus, a marshall mg250, or any marshall Avt 50w and up. Any comments?

What style of music are you playing? Who are your influences? This will give us an idea as to what to suggest for you.

I have the 75-watt Spider III by Line6 and it is a really great amp.
For what you want you may need the 150-watt head and cab version, but it is very nice.

This is a modeling amp and the new models available on this amp all sound very good for lots of different kinds of music.
