I just bought a Pod xt live processor and am having some trouble finding the output setting that works with my amp. I have a Spider II 112 combo, and I cant seem to find the focus setting in the output that will give me the same sound I get in my headphones. Can any one give me the Hz setting I need, or tell me how to find out.

run the pod into the effects return, and not the amps guitar input, and set the pod to 2x12 power amp instead of 2x12 front. Doing this will bypass your amps preamp, and therefor you won't have to compensate for it. It tells you what you should set it to in the manual.

thats it dude, just put it into the return of your effects loop, and change the Pods output to 2x12 back.

alternatively, put it into the input of your amp and set the pod to "2x12 front" its up to you which you think sounds better...I run my Xtlive in my effects loop of my amp, but thats just the way I like it more.
