A mate of mine brought me the above to have a look at - the first thing I noticed was that the bridge was back to front - the intonation screws were facing the pick ups - wrong

anyway i reversed the bridge and tried to set up the intonation, but it was still reading sharp on the 12th fret.

anyway i tried jamming along to a couple of my favourites -Rock of ages - Def leppard and track 8 Ac/dc on the Powerage cd.
It played perfectly - how can this be ?

Even if the 12th was reading sharp, its still an E note so its gonna sound the same, you might just get a wierd effect if you listen close when you play along. But as for the bridge, the screws are suppose to be facing the p/u's. Unless the saddles are reversed. The slanted side of the saddles should be facing back, so go with that.

From memory - as my mate took the guitar with him - three of the saddles were facing forward and three were facing backwards.
I'll have another look when i see him.
many thanks
