Hmmm. Too wide of a question for me to answer. There are a lot of movies that I dearly love but could not pick one as a favorite. Here's a few favorites though;

Full Metal Jacket
Pulp Fiction
Annie Hall
Apocolypse now
The Big Lebowski
Blood Simple
Caddyshack
Animal House

...blah, blah, blah...

.Magnolia.

Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

Oh yeah, loved the entire Python series. Personally, I think that 'The Meaning Of Life' may be one of the most under-rated comedies of all time. "Oh fishy, fish,fish...."

Blade Runner.
First movie I ever saw on a VCR. I still remember being half way through it before I realized I could put it on pause for a bathroom break.

I agree on just about everyone who posted stuff. I relly enjoy movies that are narrorated and based on true stories/real events. Movies like Jarhead, Syriana, and probably one of my favorite movies like that is City of God. Theres a movie coming out soon in theaters about a city/state (or whatever they are called) in Africa's rebellion that I'm looking forward to seeing.

Pulp Fiction
Black Hawk Down
Saving Private Ryan
Old School
Godfather I and II
A Man on Fire
Hoosiers
The Departed....

And probably one of the best movies I've seen in a very very very long time... Green Street Hooligans... RENT IT NOW!!! It's about soccer/football hooligans in England and an American that gets kicked out of Harvard. It's seriosuly my all time favorite movie at the moment... close behind that is definitely Pulp Fiction or Boondock Saints...
