I've had a serious skin infection for three years - it has flumoxed many Doctors.
After having a new washing machine fitted, I noticed today that when I had a plumber in three years ago, he'd incorrectly fittted the U bend water trap under the kitchen sink, and I think poisonous gases are coming in from the drains and sewer through the wastepipe.
It has totally done my head in - but at last i think I've found the cause.

Still awake dudes, I've put the plug in the sink and blocked the overflow (Flamable )- awaiting emergency plumber.

I'm in London at the moment. I reckon the whole city is flammable... the drains back up in heat / rain / anyway, and you're just walking along minding your own business when you get hit by a wall of stink... presumably a similar situation but better ventilated... :D

Actually... Hydrogen Sulfide is the hazardous gas commonly associated with sewers... But either way, it's still hazardous. I deal with hazardous materials as part of my job so I figured I would chime in. Since I can't send you a material safety data sheet for hydrogen sulfide... here is a fact sheet about it that I've used in HazMat classes before.

Dude, you've been living with these gases for three years. I think if they were going to kill you they would have by now. Of course it still can only help to get rid of them! Hope it all turns out all right for you.
You go outside and practice screaming. We'll play music while you're gone.
