At least new to me, I finally traded in my Marshal valvestate for a Line 6 spider.
Iv'e been using the valvestate for about 8 years - I had no idea how far amplifiers have evolved - many thanks to you guys at GT who recommended the line 6 - ELATED..

Congratulations bud! I used to have a Marshall Valvestate VS100R 1x12 combo, and it was a great little amp. I then moved on to a Marshall AVT275, which was also a great amp, but too pricey for what it was worth. Then I moved on to a Line6 POD Pro/Mackie M800/Marshall 1960a and was completely blown away! Now, I'm a Peavey guy, but still use some Line6 gear for recording and such. You just can't beat their versatility.

Went shopping for a guitar/amp for my nephew and found this awesome little 15w hybrid Vox used for 119.00. ADT15 or something like that. Lots of effects for a beginner to have fun with and a really nice deep, gutsy tone. Not quite an all tube tone monster, but pretty close.
