AAAAARGH!! Those horrible MarineLand Commercials

... have started up again this summer.
Every year... the same horrible song every 5 minutes.

But bwahaha..... I have a PVR now so I can stick it to em for the first time in 10 years!!!!!

is that the equivolent to dvr or tivo?

yeah.... 80 hours recording time.... fast forward through commercials
record 2 shows at a time while watching a third one...
And my absolute dream of never watching annoying commercials again...
no more horrible McDonalds 'I'm lovin it", or KFC "It's our taste that makes us famous" or that horrible kid on the Zoom Zoom commercials....

Commercials are purposely designed to annoy the crap out of people.
Especially that Marineland commercial. The same horrible song every year for over 10 years.

they stopped playing the maza zoom zoom commercials a coule years ago here. i usually use commercials as a chance to go do something and not miss anything.

and i've never seen a marineland commercial
and although i have a kfc across the road i haven't seen a kfc commercial in a long time
although i do get the ba da da da da! I'm loving it commercials.

so commercials here dont bother as much.

I find the Mobizzo and Burger King commercials pretty funny, but the BK commercials aren't as good as they use to be.

Never heard of Marineland but I agree on the KFC thing. Although the one we get here now is where the guy comes in and asks for essentially everything (mashed taters, corn, gravy, chicken and cheese) and they put IT ALL IN THE SAME BOWL! Apparently KFC has managed to stream-line that rather intensely difficult process of kinda mixing stuff together on your own plate!

Seriously, it looks awful. Almost like the guy who ate it before you might have enjoyed it....UGH.

Loved the BK commercials from a little while back of the King with giant plastic head showing up in various places. Kinda creepy but funny. But now they have this whole 'I am man' thing which culminates in an old, 20's style circus strong man, chained to a semi pulling it along a street while a comely young lady tempts him along with a hunk of meat slapped between a bun. I am not quite sure what the point is - perhaps meat = bondage? Or that meat goes well with chains and trucks? I have no idea.

Yeah in NZ we've got a themepark called Rainbow's End, which has used the same song for many years, although they don't have that many ads these days...

there's a horrible australian ad for Kraft easymac that they spam on tv here in NZ at the moment, it makes me vomit

By the way, Schmange, that Marine Land commercial is definitely one of the more annoying ones. I don't have a PVR, so I'm gonna have to suffer all summer.

Or, more likely, I will just watch Kids in the Hall DVDs all summer.

When it comes to adverts/commercials. I have to admit the overseas commercials take the cake :)

Here in the states there are strict censorships on the riskiness of what thety are allowed to show. Except after 12:00 (midnight). I hate commercials here but I do love to watch the specials they sho w of the commercials shown and filmed overseas(outside US) LMAO they are great. Trade ya?

Canada is not overseas. Our commercials are nearly the same as your 'merican ones.

But if you'll take the Marineland one, then yes, I will trade you.
