Does anybody here have a Whammy pedal? If so, would you recommend it?
Whammy pedal

My multi-effects unit has a whammy function, and I find it mostly useless. I think that if you've already got a guitar with a tremolo bar (as you do), or if
you're not heavily into fast dive bombs or quirky artificial pitch alterations (like me), you may not need a whammy pedal.

The original DigiTech Wammy pedal is used by a lot of big name guitarists... It functions as a wah pedal and as a pitch alteration effect.... and it's got some other gizmos... I, personally, would recommend it if you can spare the change... If not... don't go out of your way to get one.

See, with my turkey job, I finally have some money and I'd like to buy some new gear. I like making weird noises, and I hear the Whammy pedal is good for this. Another pedal I'd like to get is the Zvex Fuzz Factory, but nowhere in Winnipeg seems to have them, and I'm hesitant to buy stuff online without having tried them.
