I have recently decided to buy a Line 6 SpiderII 112 combo (75-watt). I am wondering if this is a decent amp to acually buy. I have played on it at my local guitar shop and it has a very decent sound for the price of $300. I noticed I can buy a pedal with it, but that only that kind of pedal is compatible with the amp because of the hookup. Idk if this amp would be anygood or loud enough for smaller performances, but right now im not in a band but want to get this one for a practice amp. Currently I own a Roland 15-watt cube. I dont hate it, but it doesnt have much to play around with, and it does keep up with a drumset at louder volumes, but I want to get the more powerful one to keep up a little better.

If anyone can tell me more about the Line 6 amp IM looking at, I want to know if it is really worth the buy, if I can use any other pedals or effects with it and how, and if it would be good for performing.

I own this amp and have never regret buying it. Its exactly what I need. Enough power to crank out, light and mobile, lots of different effects, and easy to use. Depending on the size of the gig, it should have plenty of volume. Ive gotten a lot of "wows" out of it when the volume is cranked.

Im not really sure what you mean by compatible with other pedals. You can use whatever pedal you want, just only the Line 6 pedals plug directly into it I believe. I use a Morley Bad Horsie 2 wah pedal and a DigiTech RP100 effects processor with it.

You can get many different tones out of it. It comes with a lot of different presets that you can tweak. Should easily be able to keep up with a drummer.

I highly recommend it.

So you can just plug, say, a Digitech pedal into it via a guitar lead, like on a regular amp?

Im not sure about how much a euro is worth but the last time I checked it was about two american dollars. So im guessing you'd be bying it for about 230 american dollars but I dont know. If ur looking to buy the 75-watt Spider II 112 that should be a pretty good deal. If u buy it new it costs 300 dollars which i guess would be around £170. So if you can buy one at that price and it's the one you want go for it you'd be getting a really good deal.

Same here matey, same here, also bought it a few weeks ago, best thing I bought in years, will never regret this

I bought it for 350euros, that's roughly almost $450, kinda expensive compared to you but with 1st hand, they don't come cheaper in the Netherlands
