okay, if you were playing a tab like this:

E:
B:
G:5
D:5
A:
E:6

or something like that, would you mute out the A string with a finger?
thats how i do it, is there an easier way?

thats the only way to do it. unless you wanna be stupid and lift the pick, skip, and pick the other 2 strings

Truth from the posters above. You can pluck it with your fingers using only PIM or PMA. Or you can use a pick and mute the "A" string with the finger you are using to play the A#/Bb.
