I just bought the new Cannibal Corpse CD and it's better than their last one, but it still all sounds the same.

I should hope so... *shudder*

But anyway, I reckon this new song sounds quite different from most of Queensryche's past stuff - less 80s, more modern metal, maintaining their prog twist. They had a bit of that on Tribe with "Desert Dance", and I don't know whether I want all of Mindcrime II to sound like that, but it's good that they're continuing to progress in their old age.
