I have no more room on my pedal board! What should I do  ha ha. Hopefully I shall quit for now, but chances are, I will soon be building a new pedalboard. The newest addition is the MXR M117R Flanger. I've alway's wanted a flanger, but never got around to getting one until now. This pedal is pricey, but dang is it worth it (if you like the flanger tones I like). It's extremely versatile for a flanger too. I've only had it for 2 day's so far, so I'm not going to go too deep into describing it, but let's just say I'm = :D
No more room!!!

How come ya don't use multi effects units?
I gave up pedals about 10 years ago cause I got sick of making these really ugly boards and carrying em around all over the place.

I used to do the multi-effects thing, but never could get satisfied with any of them. If someone made one like I have worked out in my head, then I would go that rout, but unfortunately they don't.
In all honesty, I don't use the effects I have, enough to justify having them. But, when I do use them, I get the exact tone I'm looking for, which was alway's a problem with the multi units.

I couldn't see why you would need more room. other than the effects you already have, I think most effects are kinda stupid and may be fun to play with, but aren't something you'd use in an actual song.

Nice pedalboard PRSP. Funny, you have the exact same setup I wish I had. I definately want the delay cause of the sweet ass tone a short delay can give a melodic lead.

I don't have room for my amps footswitch :(
The only other pedals I'll probably eventually get someday will be a phaser and a tremolo pedal. Again, not things that would be used very often, but nice to have for that certain occasion.

See, I know where your comin from. I have given up multi-fx, along time ago. They just dont have the quality of analog effects, and i could never get close to the sound I hear in my head. thats why I buy single pedals. Hey, you could always have dual pedal boards if worse comes to worse! And another thing, I sure hope that those pedals are true/hardwire bypass, cuz if there not, you clean tone must be butchered!

How do you handle all the a/c power adapters?
Or do you use battery power?
One of the main reasons I gave up on pedals was having to make room for half a dozen 9 volt adapters. (those stupid huge square things)
I tried batteries, but could never be sure they were fully charged. Plus a couple of my pedals would run the batteries down if you left the guitar cord plugged in.

my peavey XXX super 40 efx has built in effects that actually sound really good. so, the only real pedals I would need would be wah, delay (it has one, but I want more control over the parameters), and maybe chorus (again, for the parameters) if I want a tremolo, phaser, flanger... it's all there, and doesn't sound half bad. of course, I never use any of those. an overdrive pedal for volume/gain boosts wouldn't be bad either too.. hmm..

I take the opposite approach...my pedal set up is vast and ever changing (although now it seems I have found what I am looking for in my pod,Digitech Xp400 space station, Boss Pw10 V-Wah, Digitech Jam Man and Boss Fuzz pedal.
I could do with a nice Overdrive pedal, but I am hoping that which ever amp I end up getting will take care of that.

My tone doesn't suffer enough to make a difference. Actually, I prefer the slightly attenuated highs from the extra length in cable, as opposed to using say a 10' cable straight into my amp. But, the difference isn't enough to say one is better than the other.
My clean tone is superb btw ;). I like a pushed clean tone that has a touch of break up, but I can get some shimmering/sparkling cleans if I want to. It's just not what I like.
High quality cables defanately make a difference too!

Not a problem at all. If you look in the upper left hand corner of my board, you'll see a black box (it's on it's side) with a bunch of little cables plugged into it. This is a Dunlop DC Brick. It has 7 or 8 outputs for 9v pedals, and 3 outputs for 18v pedals. So, all I have to do it plug it up, hook the pedals up to it, and I'm good to go :D
