simply put, if you have a floyd rose style trem... get one!
i've just got one installed on my explorer. i bought the trem for about £5 ($12 or so to you american chaps) and the tremsetter's made it stay perfectly in tune. i have absolutely no complaints. get one now!
btw. the instructions are easy to follow. you need to drill a small hole but i got around that so if you have probs just email me :)

i know what they are now but i had another question: when installed does the trem feel stiffer/harder to push down or pull up than without it? and if it is, is it hard to get used to the stiffnes of it?

Hey, Yes it is me with the tremsetter. I installed one on my Jackson DKMG. They are easy to install, just make sure you undersand the directions before you go drilling any holes or screwing any screws. The tremsetter is adjustable for stiffness. It isn't hard to adjust to and will make your trem much more stable. I believe I paid thirty bucks for mine, new.

is there an alternate way to install other than drilling a hole into your guitar? cause what if you screw up while screwing up your trem setter?

Don't think so. You could always pay a tech to do it.

could just bend or clip the little bar but that could really mess the tremsetter

The hole I drilled was kinda at an angle. The hole I'm talking about is the one for the little bar to go in. I had to bend mine a little bit and it works great.
